Now Boarding: Unrivaled Basketball Begins Season 3 Returning Players Roster Reveal

Unrivaled Basketball, the professional women's 3-on-3 basketball league co-founded by Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier, is gearing up for an exciting Season 3.
With its third season set to begin in January 2027, Unrivaled has started unveiling its roster across the league's website and social media channels. Through a 'Now Boarding' campaign—composed of daily player announcements through August 30th—, fans can follow along to see the athletes that will make the league's 48-player roster.
Previously announced signings include Bridget Carleton (Portland Fire), Marine Johannès (New York Liberty), Flau’jae Johnson (Seattle Storm), Kayla McBride (Minnesota Lynx), Olivia Miles (Minnesota Lynx), Jessica Shepard (Dallas Wings), Kayla Thornton (Golden State Valkyries), and Gabby Williams (Golden State Valkyries).
Today, the league revealed the first slate of returning players—which included multiple multi-year contracts. The first group of returning players include Shakira Austin (Washington Mystics), Paige Bueckers (Dallas Wings), Veronica Burton (Golden State Valkyries), Natasha Cloud (Chicago Sky), Chelsea Gray (Las Vegas Aces), Dearica Hamby (Los Angeles Sparks), Marina Mabrey (Toronto Tempo), Maddy Siegrist (Dallas Wings), and Courtney Williams (Minnesota Lynx).
Within this group, Bueckers, Austin, Burton, Hamby, Mabrey, Siegrist, and Williams are signed to multi-year contracts.
The announcements will resume tomorrow, August 28th, and run daily through August 30th. The mix of players are not indicative of club assignments, which will be revealed at a later date.
